The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is onsite in Greenport, NY. Compensation is $27.29 per hour after the 90-day probationary period. San Simeon by the Sound seeks to support residents’ dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life. The CNA provides direct resident care, assists with daily activities, and reports observations to the nursing team. Accurate records, infection-control practices, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team support safe, coordinated care.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility
• document vital signs, weights, and assigned observations
• respond to call bells
• report condition changes
• maintain records and a clean, safe environment
• follow infection-control and resident-rights policies
• participate in care planning and team meetings as required.
