Job overview
The Maintenance Planner is an onsite role based in Kelly, NC. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the maintenance department at a West Fraser wood products facility. This role exists to plan, schedule, and coordinate all plannable maintenance work performed on the worksite. The planner ensures maintenance records and files are kept to support meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
What you'll do
- Review maintenance time sheets and work orders, plan and schedule daily maintenance work, and ensure parts are in stock.
- Create purchase requisitions for non-stock items, update BOM lists, and track problem areas in the mill.
- Schedule outside contractors and interface with Predictive Maintenance Technicians to incorporate condition monitoring data into planned maintenance.
