Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Corning, CA. Pay is $17–$21 per hour. The cook prepares meals for Denny’s guests according to menu specifications, food-safety requirements, and service timing standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare and present food to order using recipes and brand standards
• follow prep procedures and rotate perishable stock
• maintain food temperatures and safe handling practices
• prepare special orders
• maintain shift stock levels
• organize work areas and storage
• assist with inventory and deliveries
• clean kitchen equipment
• complete side work and deep cleaning
• monitor waste and food costs
• respond to concerns and assist service staff as needed.
