The Hardware Integration and Test Engineer role is onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL, Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation is not specified. The engineer supports Sidus Space’s satellite hardware integration and testing work. The role verifies that satellite electrical systems and components perform as designed through integration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. Collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams helps resolve defects and support hardware development and production.

What you'll do

• Perform hardware bring-up, functional testing, and verification of satellite electrical systems, circuit boards, and assemblies
• integrate hardware into subsystem and system configurations
• use lab equipment to validate and troubleshoot
• interpret schematics, PCB layouts, drawings, and wiring diagrams
• isolate and resolve defects
• develop test plans and procedures
• document results and progress
• support technical documentation
• comply with aerospace standards
• coordinate interface specifications with vendors.
