The Direct Support Professional Mentor role is onsite in Chariton, IA. Pay is $19 per hour. The full-time schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation every third weekend. Crest Services provides residential services to people with mental disabilities, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries. The mentor provides direct support and protective oversight while promoting residents’ independence and personal goals. The role also trains and mentors new Direct Support Professionals and coordinates with team leadership and families to support consistent, person-centered care.

What you'll do

• Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight
• promote independence and personal goals
• assist with activities of daily living while maintaining safety and dignity
• onboard, train, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals
• collaborate with team leadership on staffing, attendance, and performance issues
• liaise with families, administration, and individuals served
• support a positive team culture focused on person-centered care.
