What you'll do

• Plan and facilitate therapeutic recreation and experiential groups aligned with treatment plans
• adapt activities to adolescent patients’ needs
• document participation and progress
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team
• maintain a safe and engaging environment
• lead scheduled groups
• communicate observations
• and follow safety protocols, including crisis response procedures. Special events, community activities, and outings may be supported when clinically appropriate and approved.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy, therapeutic recreation, or a related field. CPR and First Aid certification are required or must be obtainable upon hire; CTRS and behavioral health experience are preferred.
