The Child Care Teacher role is onsite in Frederick, MD, and pays $17–$19 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, at The Learning Experience - Lake Linganore’s new early learning center. The center is building its teaching team across infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age classrooms. Teachers create safe, welcoming classrooms and lead developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development. They also maintain classroom routines and documentation, communicate with families, and collaborate with colleagues while following Maryland childcare licensing and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Create a warm, safe, engaging classroom
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• plan and lead developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• engage children through art, music, movement, literacy, sensory play, STEM, and hands-on exploration
• support development
• maintain routines and positive guidance
• document observations
• communicate with families
• collaborate with teachers and leadership
• maintain classroom organization
• follow Maryland licensing, health, and safety requirements.
