The veterinarian provides clinical care through examinations, diagnostics, surgery, prescribing, and client education, while supporting hospital protocols, case review, and teamwork to maintain high standards of care.

What you'll do

• Conduct patient exams and medical work-ups
• communicate with and educate clients
• perform diagnostic procedures and surgery
• maintain medical records
• prescribe medications and follow controlled-substance protocols
• promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• coordinate weekly priorities with the Hospital Manager
• evaluate hospital protocols
• monitor cases and attend daily rounds when possible
• participate in practice updates and training.
