What you'll do

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
• An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
• Must have previous Level 3 NICU and pediatric experience.
• Shift & Scheduling: Occasionally some day shifts. Weekends: Two weekends a month. Holidays: As needed
• Floating Requirements: Float to Peds, ER, and possibly transports depending on experience.
• 9 days maximum time off
• 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
• 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
• Proof of identification required
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

What we're looking for

Education

Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program.

Experience

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
