Constellation Search Group is recruiting for a full-time position focused on improving equipment reliability in a heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing environment. The engineer identifies reliability opportunities and implements solutions to reduce unscheduled downtime, extend asset life, and lower life-cycle costs. Through maintenance strategies, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and reliability metrics, the role supports safer and more dependable production operations.

What you'll do

• Support a culture of zero environmental health and safety incidents and participate in incident investigations
• lead root cause failure analysis on maintenance and control issues
• use 5-Why and Ishikawa problem-solving techniques
• develop and optimize PM, PdM, and CBM equipment care strategies
• standardize equipment, procedures, and operations
• provide troubleshooting, planning, and repair support
• establish equipment criticality rankings
• train others in reliability concepts
• support reliable equipment delivery from engineering concept to production
• analyze process control using variation, SPC, and FMEA
• use reliability metrics to identify loss drivers and confirm improvements
• support troubleshooting of electrical, controls, and machinery issues.

Why this role
