Electrical Project Engineer

Job overview

The Electrical Project Engineer role is onsite in Orange, CA, with flexible work-from-home options available. Compensation is $90,000–$150,000 per year. PacRim Engineering provides engineering consulting services across infrastructure, utilities, transportation, public agencies, and other markets. Working under a project manager, the engineer develops electrical designs and project deliverables, supports project execution, and coordinates with clients and team members. The work helps deliver electrical projects that meet engineering, cost, permitting, and construction requirements.

What you'll do

• Design electrical services, lighting, power, site power, emergency power, and distribution systems
• perform power demand and fault-current calculations
• coordinate with utilities
• prepare engineering studies, reports, plans, specifications, estimates, and cost estimates
• process permits
• support construction
• review drawings, calculations, and specifications
• coordinate project tasks and client interactions.
