Level 2 Systems Integration Technician

Job overview

The Level 2 Systems Integration Technician role is onsite in Tanner, AL. Compensation is $20–$40 per hour. The technician supports an onsite IT team in a manufacturing and facility construction environment, helping bring new operations and facilities online. The role installs, integrates, configures, and tests IT hardware and industrial computing systems, while providing troubleshooting and documentation support. Work across HMI refreshes, camera deployments, equipment staging, and infrastructure integration helps prepare systems for operational handoff.

What you'll do

• Install, connect, configure, and test computers, industrial PCs, monitors, scanners, printers, dashboards, peripherals, and related equipment
• support replacement and validation of approximately 14 HMI units
• assist with camera system deployments
• stage and prepare hardware
• assist with equipment mounting, racks, cabling, and connectivity
• diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, operating system, peripheral, connectivity, and configuration issues
• validate installed equipment and applications
• investigate field issues and escalate complex problems
• support construction and startup with IT, engineering, and contractors
• maintain installation records, inventories, configuration notes, test results, and issue documentation
• manage assigned tasks and communicate progress.
