Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer role is onsite in Huntsville, AL; compensation is not specified. The position provides quality engineering leadership and production support at Polaris assembly operations. The engineer leads quality improvement and issue resolution while supporting hourly quality employees and coordinating with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and other partners. The work helps ensure products and processes meet safety and quality standards and supports new product initiatives and sustained production quality.

What you'll do

• Provide day-to-day leadership to hourly quality employees and assign inspection, audit, containment, and support activities. Coach and train employees
• lead troubleshooting, root-cause and failure analysis, and corrective and preventive actions. Monitor quality metrics, lead improvement initiatives, support new product start-ups and supplier certification, maintain inspection and testing processes, and coordinate responses to defective materials.

Why this role
