Part-Time Overnight Mental Health & Brain Injury Technician

Job overview

The Part-Time Overnight Mental Health & Brain Injury Technician role is onsite in Des Moines, IA, with compensation of $20 per hour. Community NeuroRehab supports participants in a residential brain injury rehabilitation program as they work toward meaningful lives in their communities. The technician supports and motivates participants as they pursue cognitive, physical, medical, behavioral, and psychosocial rehabilitation goals. Through engagement and support with behavioral compensatory strategies, the role contributes to participants’ development of skills for community living, learning, work, and recreation; employees do not provide personal care.

What you'll do

• Support and motivate program participants in rehabilitation programming
• help participants develop behavioral compensatory strategies
• complete required training and participate in the program’s treatment approach
• work overnight shifts from 9:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. on a three-day work week, including holidays and rotating weekends.
