What you'll do

• Build and maintain systems for policy work
• track state and federal legislation
• prepare and file advocacy materials
• manage policy data and compile metrics
• prepare newsletters and reports
• research legislation and regulations
• contact court personnel, government offices, attorneys, and advocates
• support client and government relationships
• provide administrative support to the Deputy Legal Director for Policy
• draft correspondence and advocacy materials
• prepare presentations and educational materials
• support attorneys with reports, pleadings, and briefs
• maintain case files and systems for court-rule compliance.
