The Catering Head Chef role is onsite in Burlington, MA, working in the commissary and at off-premise events, and pays $24–$30 per hour. The role also supports food safety, kitchen organization, and the development of culinary staff.

What you'll do

• Lead a small team of cooks preparing ingredients in the Burlington commissary
• lead three or more cooks at events in meal preparation and plating according to event timelines
• follow recipes and directions to ensure consistent, high-quality menu items
• coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• maintain clean, organized kitchen areas and proper food storage and labeling
• mentor and develop culinary staff.
