What you'll do

• Prepare or direct food preparation using established procedures and recipes
• determine food and supply needs
• coordinate with the Restaurant Manager
• set and serve the steam table
• follow sanitation and food-handling standards
• store and label food
• report equipment issues
• plan production around meal times
• portion food
• check temperatures
• manage leftovers to reduce spoilage
• clean and sanitize the kitchen and equipment.
