Senior Acquisition Analyst

The Senior Acquisition Analyst role is onsite in Springfield, VA. Compensation is $120,000–$180,000 per year. The analyst supports a federal Program Execution Office and helps align acquisition activities with NGA mission objectives.

What you'll do

• Support acquisition planning, requirements analysis, market research, cost estimation, acquisition strategies, and source selection plans
• develop and improve acquisition documents
• manage acquisition records, policies, workflows, and training materials
• track milestones, readiness, expirations, capability gaps, and risks
• maintain acquisition schedules and forecasts
• coordinate governance boards and working groups
• analyze cost and schedule information and brief recommendations
• support services-based programs and federal contract types
• develop reporting tools and automated workflows
• administer SharePoint sites and repositories
• and capture lessons learned and process improvements.

Why this role

Requires a related bachelor's degree or higher and at least five years supporting U.S. government acquisition programs, with an additional five years of relevant experience substitutable for the degree.
