Transportation Driver — Skilled Nursing Facility

The Transportation Driver — Skilled Nursing Facility role is onsite in Raymore, MO; compensation is not specified. The driver transports residents to and from physician appointments and other destinations under the direction of the Transportation Scheduler and licensed nursing personnel. The role helps residents reach medical appointments and programs safely and on time. It also supports communication with clinical staff by reporting changes in resident condition observed during transportation and assisting with resident transfers as directed.

What you'll do

• Transport residents to and from physician appointments, inpatient and outpatient programs, facilities, and residences
• pick up new admissions and residents discharged from hospitals
• coordinate schedules with the Transportation Scheduler
• report behavior or condition changes and abnormal findings to clinical supervisors
• transport medical records for signatures
• follow safety procedures
• maintain and clean the van and log mileage
• assist clinical staff with safe lifting, transfers, and resident movement as directed
• communicate with outside facilities and report schedule changes
• provide hydration according to resident needs
• protect residents’ personal property.
