Accounts Receivable Assistant

The Accounts Receivable Assistant role is onsite in Lowell, MA. Pay is $23–$25 per hour. Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is a 123-bed skilled nursing facility, and this position supports its day-to-day accounting function and finance team. The assistant maintains financial records and reports, discusses billing matters with residents or responsible parties, secures cash and valuables, and provides payroll backup. The work helps keep facility accounting and resident billing processes accurate and timely.

What you'll do

• Discuss billing situations with residents or responsible parties, including the Director of Finance
• maintain accurate and timely accounts, journals, deposits, ledgers, records, and reports
• secure cash and valuables according to policy
• provide payroll backup
• complete Medicaid redeterminations when applicable
• perform additional tasks assigned by the Director of Financial Services.
