What you'll do

• Develop and implement a family ministries and faith-formation plan
• lead and evaluate children’s, youth, and family programs
• coordinate Confirmation and recruit mentors
• partner on children’s and youth music ministries and oversee the acolyte program
• recruit, train, and support volunteers
• ensure compliance with Safe Sanctuary and child-protection policies
• supervise nursery, children’s, and youth ministry staff and volunteers
• manage the ministry budget
• communicate with families and the congregation
• welcome visiting families
• participate in Sunday worship and children’s messages
• represent the church at relevant United Methodist events.
