What you'll do

• Coordinate menus and train kitchen workers
• prepare, cook, and serve food
• manage food and supply costs, inventory, and ordering
• maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• hire, train, supervise, and orient dietary employees as applicable
• work with the Registered Dietitian on residents’ clinical dietary needs
• prepare meals, desserts, and snacks according to posted menus and special diets
• maintain food storage and temperature documentation.
