Generation Major Project Group Intern

The Generation Major Project Group Intern is an onsite position based in Denver, CO, with a pay range of $21.20 to $23.20 per hour. This role supports active energy generation projects at Xcel Energy, including wind, solar, battery storage, and combustion turbine developments. The purpose of this role is to develop technical and project management knowledge through exposure to all phases of project execution. The intern will split time between the office and active construction sites, assisting with project coordination, reporting, and construction support activities.

What you'll do

• Support project teams with tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Participate in field visits to active construction sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, coordinators, and contractors.
• Learn project development processes for renewable and conventional energy facilities.
