Shift Manager – Restaurant Operations

Job overview

The Shift Manager role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, with compensation of $14–$19 per hour. The manager directs daily restaurant operations in the General Manager’s absence and supports Wingstop’s guest service and operating standards. The role coordinates shift execution, team members, food preparation, customer service, inventory, and financial accountability. It also helps maintain safety and sanitation, handles guest concerns, and supports staffing, training, and restaurant opening or closing.

What you'll do

• Direct restaurant operations in the General Manager’s absence
• maintain guest service, product preparation, cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing standards
• manage shrinkage, waste, expenses, payroll, and inventory
• open or close the restaurant
• handle guest issues
• support team members and deliveries
• place vendor orders when needed.
