What you'll do

• Design and own database schemas and data architecture
• guide database and data-platform technology selection
• use AI tools in database design, optimization, documentation, and troubleshooting
• build data pipelines and data quality capabilities
• improve performance and scalability
• maintain high availability, backups, and disaster recovery
• plan upgrades and cloud migrations
• enforce security and compliance controls
• establish standards and mentor engineers
• build monitoring and alerting
• collaborate across engineering, product, SRE, and support.
