Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Facilities Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $22–$28.60 per hour. Elica Health Centers supports patient care through community health clinics, mobile medicine, and a resource center serving underserved patients and community members. The technician maintains clinic buildings and medical equipment so facilities remain safe, clean, and functional for patients and staff. The role handles inspections, preventive maintenance, work orders, repairs, contractor coordination, and equipment and cost tracking.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, purchase, and maintain building and medical equipment
• conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• perform minor plumbing, light electrical, flooring, painting, lighting, filter, and janitorial tasks
• handle work orders and prioritize resources
• oversee contractors and outsourced repairs
• coordinate small moves and office restacks
• track spending
• transport items using personal or company vehicles
• maintain safe and clean clinic buildings.
