The Material Handler / Forklift Operator — 1st Shift role is onsite in Anderson, SC. Compensation is $16–$18 per hour. The role supports Sargent Metal Fabricators’ manufacturing operations and production schedules. The handler moves raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods through the facility so production departments have needed materials. The work supports safe, organized, and productive operations through timely staging and delivery to machines and workstations.

What you'll do

• Load and unload raw materials
• deliver materials to machines and workstations
• transport pallets using forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• maintain timely material availability for production schedules
• assist production teams
• stack, stage, and organize materials
• perform housekeeping
• follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operating procedures.

Why this role
