What you'll do
- Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures
- monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and patient response
- administer medications, IV therapy, anticoagulants, contrast, and sedation as ordered
- assist physicians and the procedural team
- respond to arrhythmias, bleeding, hemodynamic changes, and other complications
- provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, and patient education
- document care and follow infection-control, radiation-safety, and patient-safety standards.
