What you'll do

• Complete provider orders, referrals, and insurance authorizations
• provide patient educational materials
• support patient-centered care
• manage patient flow and scheduling according to department workflows
• prepare, clean, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• dispose of contaminated or expired supplies
• measure vital signs
• perform procedures and injections and administer vaccines as ordered
• document care in the electronic health record.

Why this role

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and BLS certification are required. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; hourly hours worked vary. Ambulatory care, NextGen, and bilingual English/Spanish experience are preferred.
