Resident Care Worker (Passage House)

What you'll do

• Answer calls from domestic violence victims and the public
• assess crisis situations and take appropriate action
• conduct client intakes and admissions
• maintain confidentiality
• orient clients to shelter amenities, guidelines, and fire safety
• document daily logs and share relevant information with incoming staff
• provide brief emotional support as needed
• refer counseling issues to social work staff
• oversee chores, meal preparation, and cleanup
• maintain a safe residential environment
• assist with supplies, donations, and facility upkeep.
