What you'll do

• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment
• inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and damage
• assemble and wrap instrument sets and trays
• operate and monitor sterilization equipment
• document biological and chemical monitoring tests and sterilization loads
• prepare surgical case carts
• distribute sterile supplies
• manage inventory and report shortages or equipment malfunctions.
