The Pharmacist role is onsite in Lame Deer, MT, with full-time Monday–Friday work in 8-hour shifts scheduled 0700–1530 or 0830–1700, with a 30-minute lunch. Compensation is not specified. The role supports the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit’s Northern Cheyenne Health Center. The Pharmacist helps provide timely, accurate pharmaceutical services by reviewing medication orders against patient records, processing and checking prescriptions, educating patients, and collaborating with pharmacy staff and providers. The role also supports medication safety, emergency response, documentation, and other pharmacy operations according to patient-care needs and Service Unit policies.

What you'll do

• Review patient charts and medication orders
• process and fill prescriptions and check them for accuracy
• educate patients on medication therapy
• collaborate with pharmacy staff and providers
• respond to drug-therapy questions
• recognize emergencies and adverse medication reactions and intervene as appropriate
• handle calls and refill requests
• perform controlled-substance audits as directed
• administer immunizations with required certification
• document care and participate in training and meetings.
