The role exists to administer quality and food safety programs and ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. As the facility’s SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator, the supervisor guides quality staff and plant-wide practices that support safe, wholesome food production and consistent standards.

What you'll do

• Lead daily Quality Department activities, personnel, resources, and performance
• establish quality and food safety goals
• serve as SQF Practitioner and oversee prerequisite program validation and verification
• maintain the HACCP Plan, documentation, and records
• oversee pest control
• lead quality meetings and continuous improvement
• ensure product specifications, GMPs, food safety standards, and customer requirements are followed
• oversee staff training and performance
• manage staffing, scheduling, supplies, equipment, and budget
• complete reports and KPIs
• monitor testing equipment calibration and certifications
• maintain ingredient and packaging documentation
• liaise with USDA-FSIS
• monitor traceability and conduct mock recalls
• partner with Human Resources on staffing and employee matters.
