Assistant Preschool Director

The Assistant Preschool Director role is onsite in Manassas, VA, with compensation of $40,000–$50,000 per year. The Learning Experience’s Manassas preschool team serves children and families and uses its L.E.A.P. Curriculum. Working alongside the Center Director, this role supports teaching staff, classroom quality, licensing compliance, and daily center operations. It also helps strengthen family relationships, enrollment, and the learning environment while remaining available to support classrooms as needed.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and support teachers
• assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development
• maintain safe, engaging classrooms
• support Virginia licensing, health, and safety compliance
• assist with staffing and daily operations
• build family relationships
• welcome prospective families and support tours and enrollment
• help implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• support retention and enrollment goals
• participate in community events
• assist in classrooms when needed.
