What you'll do

• Fit and assemble components using blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, and sketches
• operate hand and power tools and shop equipment safely
• verify parts against bills of material and drawings using measuring instruments
• lay out, drill, and tap holes
• align and fasten components
• construct, rebuild, and repair machines
• perform machine start-up and packaging
• work overtime as needed.
