The position supports Cementation USA’s Business Development and Operations groups in responding to client tenders and supporting contracting projects. The Estimator develops project methodologies, schedules, and cost estimates, then prepares technically sound proposals for tenders and engineering studies. The role helps ensure submissions are accurate and timely and supports continuity from tender through project completion.

What you'll do

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare schedules, cost estimates, and bid documents
• determine labor, equipment, and material requirements
• consult with vendors and subcontractors
• prepare proposals, cover letters, and methodologies
• maintain estimating data
• support project management
• conduct risk reviews
• and travel for site visits or inspections, including possible international assignments.

Why this role

Requires a relevant university degree or college diploma and at least five years of underground mining or heavy civil underground experience; relevant mining or construction management degrees may count as four years toward the experience requirement. Advanced knowledge of Deswik Mining Software and Hard Dollar is required.
