The Special Education Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Pine Plains, NY, with a pay range of $56,066–$63,906 per year based on education and New York State certification. Anderson Center for Autism’s mission is to optimize quality of life for individuals with autism. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM. The teacher designs and delivers individualized, evidence-based instruction to help young children meet IEP goals and develop learning, communication, social, and behavioral skills. Collaboration with classroom staff and families supports student progress across settings.

What you'll do

• Create a structured, supportive classroom
• develop classroom and positive behavior systems
• prepare, deliver, and assess individual and group instruction
• evaluate progress against IEP goals
• use behavioral supports
• supervise and guide teacher aides
• communicate with families and provide education opportunities
• follow safety, reporting, and agency protocols.
