Multiskilled Craftsman, Water and Wastewater

The Multiskilled Craftsman role is onsite in Greenville, SC, with travel to multiple jobsites, projects, and offices; minimal overnight or weekend travel may occur. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. The role supports HarperGC’s mission to build up communities, clients, and colleagues by building trust. The craftsman contributes to a crew performing water and wastewater construction work, including pipe installation, concrete work, equipment installation, and related tasks. The role helps complete project work by following plans and instructions and carrying out a range of construction trades activities.

What you'll do

• Thread and bend pipe
• assemble, install, and join metal and nonmetal pipe and fittings
• secure pipes to structures
• set pumps and install small interior PVC and copper pipe
• test piping systems for leaks
• mark, cut, shape, and assemble materials
• construct concrete forms and chutes
• erect scaffolding and ladders
• perform crane rigging and flagging.
