Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant

Job overview

The Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant role is onsite in Avis, Pennsylvania. Pay is $13.50–$16.50 per hour. At Peace Healthcare Agency supports seniors and adults with disabilities in living safely and independently in their homes. The caregiver provides one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance based on each client’s needs and care plan. The work helps clients maintain dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• prepare meals and assist with feeding when applicable
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• provide companionship and emotional support
• assist with ambulation and care-plan-permitted transfers
• provide medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable requirements
• assist with transportation, errands, and community activities when applicable.
