What you'll do

• Maintain accurate patient and employee records
• perform DON duties during the director’s absence
• implement nursing policies and procedures
• conduct assigned education, infection control, quality assurance, and admission screening
• make daily rounds to assess residents, staffing, regulatory compliance, and staff interactions and clinical skills
• screen prospective admissions and prepare unit staff
• assist the DON with Department of Health survey preparation.
