The Travel Ultrasound Technologist role is an onsite, 13-week contract assignment in Hyannis, MA, with a schedule of Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m., for 36 hours. What you'll do

• Set up equipment and prepare patients for examinations
• select the appropriate transducer
• review patient history and clinical data
• position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain requested views
• explain procedures and answer patient questions
• support patients’ physical and psychological needs
• requisition supplies and equipment
• coordinate work for timely completion
• evaluate image quality
• maintain radiology records and label images
• assist physicians with special ultrasound procedures and needle biopsies
• maintain infection-control practices and patient confidentiality
• maintain continuing education requirements.
