Job overview

What you'll do
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, transfers, ambulation, and incontinence care
- serve meals according to specific diets and prepare simple meals for in-home participants
- perform essential household tasks
- assist with group activities, outings, and appointments
- obtain vital signs and weights as directed
- change and monitor oxygen equipment as applicable
- report changes in medical or physical status
- perform authorized procedures under supervision
- assist with medication self-administration in the home according to the plan of care
- document services and observations
- attend staff meetings and meet competencies.
