Summit Pass Outdoor Lead

The Summit Pass Outdoor Lead role is onsite in Government Camp, OR. Pay is $19–$22 per hour. The role supports Summit Pass Lift Operations and works in coordination with the Summit Ski Area Manager. The lead helps maintain lift operations and staff standards while supporting safe, efficient guest service. The work includes operating lift stations, assisting guests, maintaining terminal areas, and helping coordinate and evaluate the lift operations team.

What you'll do

• Train and work with Summit Pass Lift Operations employees
• operate the chairlift and assist guests with loading and unloading
• check tickets and season passes
• maintain snow surfaces and clean lift terminals
• maintain lift logs and incident reports
• assist with scheduling, staff performance evaluation, corrective action procedures, and communication
• independently open and close lift stations
• shovel snow
• support other Summit Ski Area operations as directed.

Why this role
