Cook – Correctional Facility

Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Moorhead, MN, inside a jail or correctional facility. Compensation is not specified. The cook reports to a Food Service Director and prepares food according to assigned menus and guidelines.

What you'll do

• Prepare hot and cold food items and standardized knife cuts
• follow recipes and food-safety and food-handling procedures
• use daily prep lists and complete opening and closing checklists
• set up the workstation
• operate ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
• store, label, and rotate products
• work with team members to prepare dishes promptly
• maintain a clean and organized work area.
