Compensation is $260,000–$365,000 per year, plus potential bonus and comprehensive benefits. The associate will support a leading law firm’s debt finance practice representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders. The role exists to help structure and execute sophisticated debt financing transactions and protect client interests through negotiation and closing. The associate will manage substantial transaction components while coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, financial institutions, and other deal professionals.

What you'll do

• Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in debt financing transactions
• advise on term loan and revolving loan facilities
• draft, review, and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documentation
• assist with structuring and executing leveraged finance transactions
• analyze and negotiate financing terms
• coordinate transaction participants
• manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
