Caregiver – Assisted Living and Memory Care

The Caregiver role is onsite in Salinas, CA. Compensation is $18–$18.50 per hour. Madonna Gardens is an assisted living and memory care community offering resident care, activities, socialization, and dining support. The caregiver assists memory-impaired residents with daily living needs and helps maintain their personal environment, meals, and records. By observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition and eating habits, the caregiver supports continuity of care and resident well-being.

What you'll do

• Assist memory-impaired residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, and transfers to activities and meals as needed
• help maintain residents’ clothing, linens, and personal belongings
• assist with meal preparation, serving, and dining tasks
• record and report changes in eating habits and resident condition
• use approved charting procedures to document pertinent information
• lift or transfer residents as needed.
