Automation Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

The Automation Maintenance Technician role is onsite in York, PA; compensation is $27–$30 per hour. The technician supports Symbotic’s automated storage and retrieval systems. The role helps maintain continuous system operation by inspecting, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing automated equipment. Through timely maintenance, documentation, and communication about production-impacting issues, the technician supports system throughput and safe operations.

What you'll do

• Inspect automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, and adapters or lifts
• adjust, calibrate, repair, replace, or modify system components
• monitor system flow
• troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies using schematics and test equipment
• perform periodic inspections and document repairs in the CMMS
• communicate production-impacting problems and corrective maintenance needs
• recover robotic vehicles
• perform minor utility work, robotic-arm troubleshooting, calibration, setup, and tool changes
• maintain 5S and clean work areas.
