Parent Empowerment Program Social Worker

The Parent Empowerment Program Social Worker role is onsite in Niagara Falls, NY, with pay of $21 per hour. The full-time position is 35 hours per week and reports to the Parent Empowerment Program Supervisor. Pinnacle Community Services works with Niagara County Department of Social Services to support families and children. The social worker provides family service planning, parenting education, and supervised visitation services as appropriate. The role helps families access support and works toward child permanency through prevention, reunification, or out-of-home placement.

What you'll do

• Provide ongoing service planning
• engage parents and deliver evidence-based curriculum
• provide supervised visitation as appropriate
• collaborate with Niagara County Department of Social Services
• document family progress and maintain confidential records
• lead parenting groups
• refer families to service providers
• transport clients occasionally as directed
• attend service planning reviews and training.
