The Information Security Systems Officer — DoD Secret role is an onsite position in North Lexington, MA; compensation is not specified. The position supports the customer organization’s Information Assurance program at Hanscom Air Force Base. The officer develops, implements, oversees, and maintains the IA program so that security requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures are established and enforced. The work supports secure operation across Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, and Special Access Program environments.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain the customer organization’s IA program
• enforce Air Force IA policies and procedures
• verify user clearances, need-to-know authorization, and IA awareness before system access
• ensure annual refresher training
• develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation documentation for systems connected to the Hanscom Network.

Why this role

CISSP certification and Secret clearance are required; Top Secret clearance is preferred. A bachelor’s degree or four additional years of relevant experience is required, along with six years of federal or DoD cybersecurity experience.
