What you'll do

• Perform physical labor at construction sites and assist other workers
• maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• follow equipment operating instructions and report breakdowns
• prepare work by reviewing instructions and gathering supplies
• coordinate machine actions and loads with crew signals
• move materials using articulated dump trucks
• control traffic and signal equipment operators with appropriate training
• dig and backfill trenches, compact and level earth, clean sites, and distribute materials and tools.
